I had brought fully automatic top loaded washing machine on 15 Feb 2016. After a good run, my machine stopped working on 18-11-2018 so I called customer care for support. Initially, after registering my complaint(This time I have not taken any complaint number) I got a technician name Amit Panwat and he told me that my motor is not working but my machines motor has a warranty of 10 years so I shared my bill with him to replace it. He told me that he will revert after 2 days but after 3 days when I called him, he doesn't respond to my call.
I got surprised when I again call to customer care center and as per them I have not registered any complaint there, I explained to them everything but still not get any update then again I have to register a new complaint and this time I have taken the complaint number i.e.DL1118020276 and again I received a call from new technician ASHU. He visited my place and after inspecting my machine rectify that machines motor is fine but the TSP(Gear Box) is damage which need to replace and that cost me Rs. 6000/-. I contacted to the customer care center for cost Confirmation but they were not aware of the cost(I got surprised again) As per Ashu the warranty of this new TSP will be only of 2 months, I lost my confidence with the ingenuity of whirlpool service center. I paid him his visiting charges of Rs. 475/- and ask him to visit again after two days and we will confirm for the same.
Now I want to crosscheck it with local technician than I taken one vendor number from justdial and informed him to come for a visit. Now one new technician from Home Care India named Salman came to my place and seen my washing machine. He changed one belt of my machine and my machine is now working properly. Salman has taken only Rs. 400 from me for visit and belt.
I want to ask Whirlpool guys:-
How do I trust you from now?
Why would I buy any of the whirlpool items after knowing that you all are here to cheat?
If you can't provide after-sales service than you should stop serving with your electronics and home appliances.
How will you justify the cost of the home visit of your technician? Is that the way to cheat?
Very disappointed with your after sales service and more than that of your way to serve your customer.
I will never bring anything from whirlpool and try hard that nobody near and dear one of my will take it
