Dubbed as the Indian version of ‘Dumb and Dumber’, the movie is far from the original and falls short by a mile - after a good take off, crash lands leaving you disappointed.

The plot was good but lost its track towards the late second half. Everything about the movie came across mediocre and as a hurriedly packed lunch.

Story: Kedar Patel(Jackky Bhagnani) is the son of a Party organizer(Dalip Tahil) and dreams to migrate to America. Shami Thakur(Arshad Warsi) is Kedar’s best childhood friend and a Marine Captain who is thrown out of job for causing a submarine to sink. Kedar & Shami party hard on a yacht which later gets caught in a storm and capsizes. They land on the shores of Karachi and then begin their escapade to return back to India. They are captured by jihadi groups who decide to exploit their stupidity and use them as mujahideens to carry out terrorist activities. Kedar & Shami decide to steal a mobile phone which turns out to be a detonator and thus unknowingly destroy a terrorist camp. They become overnight heroes and Pakistan prides in their bravery claiming them to be Pakistani citizens. After being countered by Indian TV channels that the duo were Indians, Pakistan generates a fake family which includes spouses and children, proving the duo were Pakistanis.  However, the American soldiers stationed in Pakistan desperately want to take the credit of blowing up the terrorist camp and hence offer Kedar & Shami a safe passage to India and in return the duo would inform the media that it was the Americans who did it. Kedar & Shami are at the airport waiting to board their plane when they notice a terrorist they had seen at one of the camps, but now as a pilot boarding a flight. Inspired by the reputation they earned in Pakistan and for a noble cause, they decide to let go off their flight and pursue the terrorist.

Humor galore:

• All Patel’s in India are refused an American visa.

• WhatsApp, Skype, Youtube are shown banned in Pakistan.

• Presence of Iraqis, Russians, Americans, Afghans, Chinese, Palestinians etc. with weapons in Pakistan.

• Kedar & Shami are introduced by Pakistan as Col. Ittefaq and Col. Whattefaq.

• Kedar & Shami prefer to return back to India via Bangkok and not via Katmandu.

Cast: Jackky’s role as a Gujju was witty and very effective. Arshad’s comedy was flawless. Lauren as ‘Shazia’ looked stunning and suited the role of Pakistani Intelligence.

Songs: Only two songs ‘Shakira’ and ‘Chal Bhaag” will interest you with its music and https://lyrics. Rest are boring and a waste.

Direction: Aashish Mohan’s direction came across very ordinary and lacked vision & finesse. With Arshad, Jackky and a reasonable humorous plot, he managed to engage the audience but overall the movie fails to awe. Without romance and a heroine, he tried to add glamour to the bland movie by forcing Lauren to dance to a sexy ‘Shakira’ song and throwing scantily clad Russians in another song which fails in its purpose.

Pros: Rib tickling comedy of Arahad Warsi & Jackky Bhagnani. Recreation of Karachi and effective display of Pakistani characters – the politicians and jihadi groups.

Cons: Horrible Dubbing, Unskilled Camerawork, Wayward Plot & Shoddy Direction.

Bottomline: The movie does have its comedy moments but overall one may find the movie a let off. Not a must watch but if you decide to leave your brain at home, you may enjoy it.
