As the title suggests movie is inspired by the game of shatranj / chess.
In the movie wazir is actually the pyada / pawn who is the weakest piece of the game.
In the Movie also amitabh has depicted this importance. now coming back to the story and acting all have contributed very well and maintained his/her importance as well. amitabh has acted very well, very much worthy of a filmfare for his role.
He plays the physically challenged chess GM who has very dark and sad past. farhan has acted very well and storyline is very thrilling, farhan also is having a sad and dark past in the movie. the dialog of amitabh in the movie "Khel Khel mein .khel ye aa jayegaa" is going to get some serious attention as it is awesome. learning the game of chess in the movie or focusing on tactics during gameplay is ok as this could been focused more. Mystery and suspense is very good as it will not allow you to lose your focus towards the movie.
All in all a must much on your weekend.
