This is to inform all of you customers/buyers of air conditioners, please do not buy ‘Voltas’ products at any cost! They put cheap parts in their ac’s and their after sales service is despicable. I bought a windows 1.5 ton Voltas ac in September 2017. In just one and a half years, there have been ‘3’ major problems with this ac. When I bought this product, their demo guy did not even want to come. When the first breakdown occurred, they said they would their repair man would come in 48 hrs! I live on the 4th floor, they expected me to wait with a non-working ac for that long. When the 2nd major break down occurred just shortly, they said they did not have the required part after many visits. After the one year warranty was up, their sales reps kept bothering me for a 500-RUPEE servicing of the ac, I had to beg them to stop. Now in just one and a half years the unit has run out of gas and the compressor is making excessive noise!-ALL OF THIS WHEN I REGULARLY TAKE CARE OF CLEANING OF THE UNIT? When I called their contact center, support rep named Shishantorash gave me complaint # 19051720404 and said the repairman visit charge is waived off as compressor is in warranty, turned out the next day when the repairman was coming it was not the case and I had to pay Rs. 350/-. Moreover, the repairman named Mudasshir Khan, was extremely RUDE AND CURT. He was acting if he was doing me a favor coming over. I also noticed this person speaking in the same brazen manner to another customer whose remote turned was non-functional of a new ac and felt bad for that other customer as well. I was given a phone number of a regional manager called Anuj Aditya Gupta(ph 98733 39439), who gave me another Regional Manager’s number saying is not handling the area anymore. The new manager called Mr V. Ravi Sethi(ph # 98182 00212), never bothered to pick up my call or even call back when the 3rd major problem started. This company is SHAMELESS and everyone should avoid. BUYER BEWARE! GO FOR ANY OTHER BRAND.
