This is my review about Vodafone Mobile Network Carrier.
I have been a member of Vodafone since 4 years.
In my opinion, the Vodafone Call quality is good. I cannot think of a situation when I had problems hearing the second person.
My friend who uses Jio has faced Calling issues sometimes, but vodafone does not disappoint.
However If you stay in an area with High population density, and closely built houses, then you may have problems and call stand by can possibly drain a lot of your smartphone battery.
The 4G service is not that good to be honest. It gets the job done but data packs are really costly. Just for 3GB data pack with a 28 days validity, you will have to recharge with 255 rs?
While for 675 MB data with a validity of 20 days, you have to recharge with 167 rupees? I think thats too much.
At times I had to restart my phone to get the Data service working. Else it would not work.
The strangest thing I have encountered with Vodafone is that during festive offers they will automatically subscribe to a service and deduct your balance without your permission
On 30 September, while I was busy on my phone I got a message that Vodafone TV has been activated on my phone and 150 rs have been deducted. I'm attaching a screenshot for proof below.
This drove me crazy and I was forced to call the Vodafone customer care to resolve this issue. I told them the problem and within 30 minutes my balance was refunded.
I'm glad I didn't overlook this else I would have lost my balance.
Overall I think Vodafone works fine for calling but if you use a lot of data, then it is not for you.
Customer service is satisfactory.
