Many Problems !!. Review on VLC Media Player

I have been using computer since 4 years now. When I went to college 3 years ago, my father bought me a HP ex001 pavillion laptop. I use it almost every day for various purposes like study related works, project etc but most of the time there are movies, songs, videos and entertainment on it. I like this VLC media player very much because it consists of a lot of simple features which are easy to use.

But there are always problems like:

1. Many times it hangs like hell and when I click on it several times after being not started, I see in the task manager that there are multiple windows open with VLC player open and all not responding.

   
   




2. Some times there are problems with videos or audios which are a bit older as there is coded forming activity going on which takes a lot of time and never completes, ultimately making it impossible to see those files again with VLC player.

   
   




3. Keeps on crashing every now and then.

   
   

Really irritates often and I have to use other alternatives now a days.
