As per NIRF ranking, VIT Vellore is ranked no 13 in Engineering colleges in India. Not sure, how VIT managed this rank .
VIT is transparent in their admission process. They don’t declare seat status for whole 5 days . They had declared seat status for few hours on 2nd day in their portal and then withdrawn. After that they will declare that seats at Vellore and Chennai are fully booked to arm-twist you to select Amaravati or Bhopal campus.
They don’t respond to if you call admission call numbers, no response to your mails.
You will be always in dark on admission seats and dynamic seat availability as from 2nd day they move all seats to Cat-5 to extract more money from students . Think many times before zeroing VIT admission. As per my analysis, if your rank is below 15000, don’t attend VIT counselling .
