I was looking for possible enrollment and hence I contacted the Varhur branch. The admission staff called me and said the admissions are open for the standard I was looking for. She enquired why I was looking for a change asked birth certificate and marks card from previous 2 years, I promptly sent it. the very next day she calls me up and tells me they are not taking any new admissions.
I am sure she just used me for getting info about the previous school, reason we were looking for change, may be format if marks and many such things,
Data theft can happen this way also Boss. Me being in the field got fooled royally.
My request to parents is, data of any kind is precious and think before sharing it with anyone in the pretext of seeking enrollment.
Data sharks disguised in this form may misuse it.
I am certain about this because I got many calls from other institutes soon after I sent these details to this institute, for nowhere else I had shared this information.
Information is a two-edged sword really.
