I have purchased 5-6 ACs from Vijay Sales, out of which one unit is defective. It was not giving cooling from day 2.
Brought to the attention of the shop representative. Initially, the service engineer demanded around 2500 for filling gas again. But managed to get it done without any cost.
But after 1-2 months, again, it is not giving cooling at all.
Not sure where to log a service call.
Checked with one of the sales representative, through whom, we purchased the ACs. But he said he cannot replace the defective piece, even if it is claimed that it has 5 years warranty on the product and 10 years on compressor. Instead, he offered a buy back for 2600(I can pay the rest of the amount and get a new piece). Not sure, this is the meaning of warranty here.
