Trust me when I say this, this is one of the best movies of 2012.
This 2 hours movie casts Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam, Annu Kapoor, Dolly Ahluwalia, Kamlesh Gill with a debut direction of Shoojit Sircar. John Abraham turns producer with a forward-thinking, with a movie that holds worldwide appel.
This movies has a new idea, which has been shown in a presentable and a acceptable way(for Indian audience). the movie is not vulgar as some of may be thinking.
Ayushmann{Vicky}comes as a suprise! You will love his character. A young, good looking Punjabi guy from Lajpat Nagar, is the only son and of no financial support to his mother Dolly who runs a beauty parlor. Vicky is unemployed, Single, and a biological dad of 53, Oops.54 healthy children.
The story begins when Vicky meets Annu Kapoor{Dr. Chadda}, a well-qualified fertility expert.
From here on, Dr. Chaddha's days and nights are spent in convincing Vicky to become a donor till he finally gives in and then later on it turns out to be origin of more troubles in his personal life.
Singer Actor VJ! Yami is so good to watch. Come back film for Annu Kapoor after 7 khoon maaf. Hats Off to him. Its his Movie. He is the soul of the movie.
The music is good. Loved the track'Paani da rang dekh ke'
The movie delivers great message to society through sense of humour from beginning till end.
A very nice package, you will miss something if you don't watch it. storyline was impeccable, the sensitivity of the subject was handled neatly with some smart comic timing from the characters. The script maintains perfect balanced with funny, emotional moments which a ideal movie should have.
New comers are doing an excellent job. Kudos to up coming director, actors, music directors and the entire team. An excellent movie, moral of the story, feel the pain of childless couples and to know the importance of sperm donors. Fantastic acting by all the cast, encore!
On the whole, VICKY DONOR is a small film with a big heart. Witty, funny and also emotional, VICKY DONOR is forward-thinking, progressive commercial cinema which vastly enlightens and hugely entertains!
