I had a terrible experience with Vibes HealthCare Koramangala am still going through the traumatic experience. I was living a good life but my early age baldness and hair loss was affecting my daily life and confidence levels. It was in one of the worst moments in my life that I decided to consider Vibes HealthCare, Koramangala, Bangalore for doing my hair transplant procedure.
Their beautician staff pretending-to-be doctors will greet you and the moment you step in, their only intention is to get the money out of your pocket. In my case, they asked me to pay their expensive by any standards whole procedure fee' of Rs.1, 18, 000 in advance without bothering to do any sort of preliminary checks from their end on the feasibility of doing the process( this varies per individual's skin and medical conditions).
They even arranged a finance for me to pay the hefty fee. I was then told to wait for more than 10 days as their expert doctor's appointment was not available. Finally, after 12 days, I met the actual doctor(with whom they apparently have some sort of contract arrangement) for the first time and she said that it's not advisable for me to do the procedure as my skin was prone to'keloids'-a medical condition where wounds will develop into big scars and wouldn't heal on their own. Since I was keen on it initially, the doc did a patch test by planting 30 hair follicles but then my donor area developed rashes and the doc advised not to go ahead with the process now as it had a 75% chance of keloid formation.
After consulting with my family, I decided not to go ahead with the process as it would be too much of a risk from my part to be doing so even after knowing the potential consequences.
I emailed them explaining my scenario and asked for a partial refund but they refused it. They did not even bother to reply to my email so I went and their branch manager directly and blatantly refused to do any refunds and asked me to simply wait 3-4 months and then do the process if no'keloid' presence.
This is not acceptable for me since, I am working in Qatar and am due to return this week and most importantly, I have zero trust in this greedy shop owners who do not give a damn about their customers. Why do I have I to pay the fee+emi for doing a process which could harm my health and risk my well being for a whole life? Do they know who their hair transplant customers are, why they are actually thinking about a transplant and the sufferings they undergo in life because or their hair condition?
On top of that, there are shops like Vibes who are just trying to rob people of their money and piece of mind and putting them in endless agony. I am going to consumer court against these money-minded cheap liars.
