Hi,
Vettam is a movie which carries the story of Kajol-Ajay couple movie - PYAR THO HONA HI THA.
The movie completely depicts the story of a precious chain that can change the life of a cop (played by Dilip).The role played by KAJOL was done by a new girl from Tamil Nadu who is a famous model there (Varsha).
Priyadarshan who facinates remaking movies of other directors haven't made much success in this movie. A few Masala Jokes have been added which was done best by Jagathi Sreekumar.
Dilip has tried to do his best though he couldn't be as perfect as Devagan.
Varsha lacks the potential and spirit which Kajol expressed in her movie.
The direction was average, so was the acting.But the Choreography was poor.
Those who have seen PYAR THO HONA HI THA will find VETTAM a complete bore.It is a waste of money but u can give it a try if u have no other job to do and wish to kill your time.
