Vaathi is a Tamil language action-comedy film that fails to deliver a compelling story despite the strong performances of the lead actor, Dhanush, and the music composer, G.V Prakash. The film's main weakness lies in its one-dimensional antagonist character played by Samuthrikani, which fails to generate any real interest in the audience. The 90s backdrop promised in the marketing is also underwhelming and adds little to the overall experience. While Dhanush's performance and G.V Prakash's music are notable positves, they are not enough to save the film from its weak script and underdeveloped characters.
