I and my Family had been to Kolkata for one of my friend's sister's marriage. That was the 1st time we had visited Kolkata.
We were near Jadavpur. One afternoon when we were exploring Kolkata and were hundry and that is when we discovered Utsav Restaurant. This restaurant is barely visible as it is too small. The decoration was almost nothing except chairs and tables to eat. We were in a doubt if we should have food here but as we were hungry we chose to have food there itself.
The restaurant served veg and non veg both. The menu had a lot of variety from chinese, to Punjabi to continental etc. We ordered for soups and starters 1st which was tomato and sweet corn soup and schezwan paneer. Both the dishes were amazing, same as Mumbai taste. Later we ordered Veg Sizzler and also a Veg Club Sandwich. The sizzler was not that great in taste but the sandwich was good enough. The cost for 2 would be around Rs. 400/- to Rs. 500/-
Good one. Do not go on look of the restaurant.
