This theatre was recently renamed as usha, earlier its name was kumar theatre. Till it was kumar, the theatre quality was really bad and mostly avoided by family people. But now its completely restructured and modified in a better way. It has single screen, so only one movie runs one time. The ambience is good, parking is comparitively small. The ticket rate is 100 per ticket. The a/c is not upto expectation. The sound quality is acceptable but not the best. But overall its worth the money u pay, its one of the good theatres in kollam now.
This theatre is in the heart of kollam city, in chinnakada. Opposite to kollam clock tower. Its about 2km from my home. Still I rarely prefer this theatre.
