As an ex-employee of uFaber Edutech Pvt Ltd. I have fallen trapped in the fake promises of the company and so I’m here to share my experience.


I have given my resignation on 7/12/22. I was promised by HR Christina Kotian that my FNF would be disbursed. After complete 2 months of this email from HR, I had still not received my FNF. I dropped a mail to HR including Christina and HR Yashika D my reporting manager Siddhesh Sawant. Not receiving any response from them, I dropped a follow-up mail. Still, there was no response. Worse, after my third follow-up, my uFaber account was disabled by the company.


When my reporting manager & the HR team did not respond to any of my mails, I mailed to the owners of the company Anirudh Swarnkar & Rohit Jain & Alpna Kataria. Surprisingly, even they did not respond to my repeated emails.


I reached out to some of the previous employees of the company to know their experience regarding the FNF. Strangely, none of them have received their FNFs. A quick check on google regarding the company’s reputation- MouthShut India also says that uFaber Edutech Pvt Ltd does not pay the recruitment charges(screenshot below).


Ufaber gives opportunities to freshers to start their careers. And as freshers, we go by what is written in the company's rule book and in our offer letters. What we don't know is that the company has a track record of failing to abide by the rules the company only has made.


Coming to my experience as an employee, my entire salary for October'22 was delayed. I kept texting them for the whole month and then received the amount towards the end of November with a short of Rs. 1935. This amount my reporting manager said, 'Agle mahine adjust kar dunga', as if it's a roadside general merchant shop.


When I notified my reporting manager Siddhesh Sawant, I got delayed responses like 'I have spoken to the accounts department', 'I have informed the owners' & so on. I tried calling him but in vain. This went on for the whole of November.


Siddhesh fails to provide any solution. He has lectured me on many occasions regarding the quick response to emails and messages & following matrix. Now when I think of all the lectures it sounds like a hypocrite. His review, (screenshot attached below). He is entirely incapable of providing solutions to his subordinates.


I would wind up now by saying that it is not only unfair but evil also to treat your employees in this manner. To all the current employees and the ones who would be joining in the future, my condolences are with you. Asking your current employees to share positive reviews on Glassdoor and MouthShut.com doesn't make you a good company. In fact, it only shows how poor your structure is. My purpose behind sharing this post was not to defame anybody but to express my end of the story.


A week later, I received a call from their legal advisor and we settled on a condition. The condition was that if I delete the post from LinkedIn immediately, they'll get my FNF cleared. FYI, the FNF was inclusive of the due amount, NOC and the Experience letter which the legal advisor had agreed upon.(I have the call recording as a proof) ??


Within a week I received FNF but NOT THE FULL AMOUNT. I have received a partial payment, the remaining amount, NOC and the Experience Letter are still pending. I told the legal advisor and he asked me to mail the #hr. I mailed to Christina Kotian and Yashika D Alpna Kataria also #founder & #cofounder Rohit Jain and Anirudh Swarnkar are present in the CC as usual I received no response from HR. I again told the legal advisor and he said he would check and update me.


On not receiving any update, I texted him again and he asked for time till the 9th of March, I gave him time till the 10th. Still there was no response, and I texted him again but there has been no response since then.


Amidst all this, I had also received a message from my reporting manager Siddhesh Sawant saying that the FNF has been cleared so I should now remove the comment from his Mouthshut review. I told him I haven't received the full amount and that I'm planning to take legal action and his response was(strangely)'ok'. As I had mentioned in the previous post also, #uFaber already has a lot of legal cases going on. All this makes me wonder if a legal action against them would even affect them.


They receive a good amount of investments and their business is growing - all these appear on online articles. However, internally, they don't even pay their employees properly.
