This is just an attempt to cover 20 best numbers of Rafi Sahab. No I agree I can't do this job NOR anyone else can. I have focussed on the 20 total different type of numbers to prove the fact'Rafi Sahab- The Versatile Singer'

From my hobby book I could finally find these 20 numbers in their priority order.
Uh! It was a tough job indeed.
1) Dard - E - Dil
This was the number which pulled the crowd to the theatres. The speciality of this song is that all the 3 verse has a different tune thanx to LP(Laxmikaanth Pyarelal). Subhash Ghai's only work with Late Mohd Rafi Sahab, Karz is the movie.among the few numbers he sung for Rishi Kapoor. These were the days when Rafi sahab was about to complete his inning and it was Kishore who was getting job like anything. Those were the days of Amitabh, Rajesh and Jeetendra all Kishore people. Rajendra kumar, Shammi Kapoor were back to the pavalion and to get the new feel Dev Anand had switched to Kishore.
2) O Dilbar Jaaniye
Rafi Sahab is called as versatile singer. He has sung Classical, Fast, Slow, Happy, Sad, Romantic and this one is a rap.yeah it is.one of the fastest song to Rafi's Credit. Very nicely picturized on Shashi Kapoor.
3) Chand Mera Dil
Again the late days of Rafi. Picturized on One Movie Fame Taariq Khan(remind you he is uncle of Aamir Khan-their home production)
Beautiful guitar piece was the best choice by R.D.Burman
4) Maine Poocha Chaand Se
Abdullah.was the movie.Khayyam was the gazal makers.with big hits like Kabhie Kabhie, Bazaar and Razia Sultana to his credits. This is one of the stereo songs which Rafi had sung.
He was a star of the mono days.
5) Dono Ne kiya(Meri Mahua)
This song made an impact of Rafi on the tragic track. Very good lyrics helped the perfect mood.
6) Khoya Khoya Chaand
A light number composed by S.D.Burman. Dev Anand made it a must view number by running all the way in the Ooty tea gardens. It was a hit all over.
7) Ek Chaand Sa Roshan
Shammi Kapoor was a buddy as well as fan of Rafi Sahab. There was news of them sitting and practising songs together well in Advance. Rafi used to sing in the way Shammi Kapoor acts. You wont find this dedication these days. Shammi opted Rafi's voice throughout.
8) Rang Aur Noor Ki
Sunil Dutt singing in those'Bhari mehfils'. Remember the nawab days. Too good lyrics was the strength of those days.
I remember the best line of the song. They are as follows.
Mere aaansoon piro laaya hoon
Phoolon ki jagah hai.
Mujhse kehde main tera haath kise pesh karoon.
yeh muraadon ki haseen raat kise pesh karoon.
Rang aur noor ki baaraat kise pesh karoon.
9) Nafrat Ki Duniya
Rafi's voice was always preferrable over Kishore when it comes to very very slow numbers.
Remember that'Muqaddar ka Sikandar' title song was sung by Kishore but at the climax Rafi sung the same number when Amitabh's dying.
'Nafrat Ki Duniya' was also the one which made the whole crowd literally cried when the elephant dies in'Haathi mera Saathi'. No doubt Rafi Sahab.
10) Kya Se Kya Hogaya
Dev Anand the star of 70's .Movie Guide.a different attempt in the industry.to create a musical movie.touching the Hollywood standards.
A slow but very melodious one.
11) Pardesiyon Se Na
Shashi kapoor, Nanda.the original Raja Hindustani.i.e. Jab Jab Phool khile.
No comments on the success.
12) Dil Ke Jharoke mein
Shammi kapoor .his piano and the devils dancings with beautiful babes. Remembered . That was a very creative number from BramhaChaari.
13) Ye Dil Deewana Hai

Very well sung by Rafi - Lata who after a small dispute never sang again.
I'll tell you .Lata and few other singers wanted Royalty to be given to singers.and Rafi Sahab said singers shouldnt work for money.thats it.
There Onwards he sang with Asha ji instead. He has sung max numbers in his life with Asha Bhonsale and in male singers with Manna Dey.
14) Suhaani Raat Dhal Chuki
Wow what a classic solo.Ya know he was a master when it comes to a non musical song. The music is hardly audible.but listen to the way. This is a favourite number of perfomers in Television competitions in singing.
15) Yamma Yamma
Rafi and R.D.Burman truly a rare combination. And with Amitabh and Shashi dancing to the tune was cherry on the ice cake.
16) Tere Ishq ka MUjhpe
Nagin was the movie.Sunil Dutt again doing a check mate at the climax with the Ichccha Dhaari Nagin turned Mod(Rekha).
17) Raat ke Humsafar
An Evening in Paris.was a block buster. One of the biggest hit by Shammi kapoor and Sharmila Tagore.
18) Kaun Hai Jo Sapno
Rajendra Kumar who was called the Jubilee Star in his Rare Comedy Performance. That'Priya' was surely on the highest pitch.
19) Chal Mere Bhai
Count this or not.Its Rafi with Amitabh bachchan as the male vocals.
Truly a master combination from Naseeb.
20) Kya Hua Tera Wada
Nasir Husain banner this one is from Hum Kisise Kum Nahin, composed by R.D.Burman and penned by Late Majrooh Sultanpuri.
Indeed Rafi Sahab kisi se kum Naheen.
