Bought TVS Zest on Feb 19 2015 after selling my 10 Year old TVS Victor so that my daughter could learn riding a scooter.
Chose this since it has more power than a Scooty Pep+ and is only 5 Kg heavier, have completed 860 Km. so far. Pickup is good and it is quite Peppy on road. Getting around 43 K/l.
Main downside is you have to use electric start for a few seconds in the morning to start the scooter. My guess is you would require 50+ kicks to start it without electric start. Should be ok if you drive it at least for a few Kms to keep the battery charged for the next days electric start. Once you have started and driven for 0.5 Km or so you can re-start the scooter with a single kick or a touch on the starter.
