Story:

I mail-ordered this book ..it took a long time in reaching me...but it was worth the wait..

This story is narrative by a middle-aged average guy who is juggling 100 things at a time...priorities are juxtaposed..no time to think ..past ideals melted away...

he is thrown back to his young days when he suddenly sees somebody on tv - thats his school mentor - who is dying of a disease ..

And on a whim he flies down to visit his mentor - that starts the trend of weekly tuesday visits ..and his re-learning of life .. The mentors acceptance of death and the way he deals with all the things that come with the disease is very poignantly narrated...

The most touching is when the mentor tells his tough mentee 'I'll make you cry one day - crying is good ..'

All the situations and problems are so real...you realise how close it is to life when you read it...

'You never know how to live until you know how to die '
