It rocks... really the cheapest. Review on Travelguru

Travelguru has come a long way since it's launch to provide air tickets and hotels at the click of a button. The best part about it is the fact, that we can get instant confirmation on flight bookings, a feature missing in some of the other travel sites like Make my trip, travelmart , traveldost etc.

I had booked a Jet airways ticket through Travelguru (round trip) and it turned out to be cheaper than Air Deccan also. I was really amazed to see it all flashing in one single window where we can compare all competing airlines simultaneously and reduces the necessity to go to multiple sites. Deccan, which is perceived to be the cheapest, may not actually always be that way. As far as Deccan itself is concerned, the other leading sites don't throw up Air Deccan fares as they don't have a tie up with them, which Travelguru does.

I also found tickets in Travelguru slightly more expensive than others like make mytrip, cleartrip, yatra etc.... But there was a catch to it. When I went to go ahead in Make mytrip, I actually found that they don't add the taxes initially to make the fares look cheap, but after an additional tax of arnd Rs.1900(to and fro to kolkata), I suddenly founf that Travelguru was at least Rs. 1500 more cheap than it's competitors on that route.

I think Travelguru just made travel pretty much hassle free.
