We all want the products at a cheaper price and expect it to perform outstanding and that is what we wish from anything that we buy online or a shop and that is the mistake that I also did. Before owning a Seagate hard drive I owned Toshiba 1Tb hard drive at just 3500 which is realy impressive for a price from online offer.
I was happy with it as at 3500 you dint even get a decent 500 gb hard drive and I had bought a 1 to one but the happiness didn't lasted very long. As I plugged it in I used it for around an hour put some documents and videos of almost 10gb on it which was really slow even at 3.0 USB I was getting a speed of 30-35 mbps.
I waited as the copying was done and it worked fine and after few days I copied another data of 25GB. After a month of usage for the 3rd time I was copying the data and then it started making noises. I pulled it out in the fear of losing data. I plugged it back in and nothing was there I was so much frustrated like anyone would be.
So I went to service centre and they just sent me back with nothing wrong and after 2 months same problem . A very bad purchase and after a year of usage it was useless.
