I am a big fan of music, and why not, music is the heart of a movie, atleast in India. You will find hardly any Bollywood movies with no songs or music in it. So, 2017 was a great year in respect to the kind of movies Bollywood produced.
There were some spectacular movie hits this year and I don't feel listing names of those movies. I would better talk about the best songs/music of 2017.The following is the list of the top 10 best songs of 2017, not selected by any research/survey, but by my personal choice, so the choice can be different for different people:
1- Dil diyan gallan: This beautiful song is from the movie TIGER ZINDA HAI, sung by Aatif Aslam. Actually Aatif Aslam is my personal favorite and so I had placed this song at the top of the list.
2- Mere Rashke kamar: The 2nd best song of the year, which is heard nearly in everyone's phone today and it has touched the hearts of millions. This song is actually a remake, taken in the movie BAADSHAHO, phenomenally sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, but the actual credit goes to appealing music of the song.
3- Tum Mere ho: Another beautiful soft romantic song from the movie HALF GIRLFRIEND, sung by really talented singers Jubin Nautiyal and Amrita Singh.
4- Ban ja Rani: This song is a unique one which can help a lover to propose his love, from the movie TUMHARI SULLU, sung by the Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa.
5- Lae Dooba: The song from the movie AIYAARY is beautifully picturised on the actor Siddharth Malhotra and actress Rakul Preet Singh, beautifully sung by the most talented female singer of time, Sunidhi Chauhan.
6- Baarish: Another awesome song from the movie HALF GIRLFRIEND, sung by two fresh singers Ash King and Shashaa Tirupati, is a really very soulful song.
7- Nazm Nazm: This song is from the movie BAREILLY KI BARFI and sung by a bengali singer very less heard about, Arko Pravo Mukherjee.
8- Pal: This song is very close to my heart as it is sung by my favorite singer none other than Arijit Singh, from a very less heard movie, MONSOON SHOOTOUT.
9- Ik Vaari Aa: This song from the movie RAABTA, is a song to remember long, again sung by the awesome Arijit Singh.
10- Ghoomar: The song from the movie which was highly under criticism from the historians, from the movie PADMAAVAT, sung beautifully by Shreya Ghoshal and Swaroop Khan. This song is very beautifully picturised on Deepika Padukone, which is a feature of Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies.
Hope these songs are the favorites of the readers too. Write to me in the comments if you have any other song suggestions.
