About Author and Book:- Harper Lee was the author of ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ and she was also known as Nelle. This book was published in the year 1960 and became bestseller. In the year 1961, this book was awarded by Pulitzer Prize. This book was translated into more than 40 languages.’ To Kill A Mockingbird’ is a masterpiece of American and World’s Literature. 1.Scout is the main Character of this story actually he is the narrator of this story.
2.Fransic Hancock is also a very important character in the story and he is the grandson of Aunt Alexandra( another character of the story).
3.Eula May, Zeeco, Burris Ewell, Jem, Boo, Mr. Avery, Radley, Calpurnia, Lula, Link Deas etc. are the characters of ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’.
Background and Theme:- I read somewhere that “ If you are a human being with emotions, this book will impact you, regardless of age, gender or background” And these lines influence me to buy and read ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’. This beautiful book makes you Feel and impact you and take you to the deep roots of man’s behavior . This Book or Novel is unforgettable story of a childhood in a sleepy Southern and the story covers a span of three years. ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ deals with several social problems – injustice, racism etc. This is a book which definitely feels like a well-researched one.

‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ is one of my favorite Book and I love to read it. It’s story, whole drama and emotions of children are very well described by the writer. This is a must read book and I am recommending this book to you all. Read this extraordinary work of Harper Lee and I am sure that you will love this book and definitely, you will learn something good.So overall, I am giving this 4.5 out of five stars.
