Buy used cars only from Authorised dealers. Do not ever make any advance payments. The opposition party may fool you.

Do some research about the Car you are willing to buy.

This is some thing many people do and later regret for this.

Make sure the seller has the Complete documents of the Car. Like registration certiticate, Pollution under control certificate etc.

Don't make a purchase if the seller does not have the proof of purchase. The seller may sell you theft car putting you at risk. Keep in mind. Your safety is in your hands.

Now the most important thing you need to check is the condition. There should be no major dents or sign of accidents on the Car.

I will suggest you not to buu the car if its too old. Say 10 years. At this point of time, the engine of the car may have already lost its power and efficiency. Hence, it will only put you in trouble.

Take a test drive. If you have not owned a car before, thenits better go to the seller with someone who has good knowledge about cars. It will make sure you dont get scammed.

Check whether the components inside are working properly or Not. Like AC, blower, Power steering, windows, gear lock and door locks, speedometer etc

Try to negotiate if possible. Do not too low as it may upset the seller and may lead to problems.

Do your research and find out what the car is worth or even better bring a professional to estimate the value of the car.

Once both the parties agreez you may proceed to pay. Do not make payments through cash, to avoid mishappenings. Sign a contract and only then pay the money.

Thanks
