A powerbank is a portable charger for the mobile devices. In the last one or two years, powerbank has become very much famous, and more and more people are using it. It can make a huge difference when we are on some trip or travelling for long hours. The important thing comes to mind is how to make a good selection. I will mention few tips on selection and use a powerbank. It mainly depends on ones' personal requirement that determines what type of powerbank is needed.

1) The first and foremost thing is the capacity of the powerbank. It is available from low as 1000mAH to as high as 20, 000mAH. But basically one will never get the mentioned output from the powerbank. For example if it is 10, 000 mAH, one would mostly get 8, 000 mAH or so. So if you are a heavy mobile user it is preferred to go for 10, 000 mAH powerbank or so. But it is obvious that as the capacity increases the size also would increase. So based on the required capacity and size you can choose the desired powerbank.

2) Price and quality. Another important feature to be aware of is the price and quality. So based on the price you can go for the suitable powerbank you prefer. A good quality 10, 000 mAH one would cost around 750 tp 1000 Rs.

3) Portabilty. Another important thing to check is the portability of the powerbank. The ability to charge the device while on move is a huge plus.

4) Number of ports. There are powerbanks which come with multiple ports. So we can charge more than one device at a time. It can be useful when going as family trips to simultaneously charge two devices.

5) There are two common types of battery/cell. Lithium ion and lithium polymer. Lithium polymer ones though costlier are better and does not suffer from memory affect/decrease over time.

So my final advice is that those who are heavy users can go for 10, 000 mAH or above of good quality ones with moderate size. Those who require powerbank just during travel time can choose 5000 mAH and smaller ones.
