Fuel efficiency in a bike is measure by calculating the no. of kilometers you ride in one litre petrol. In general language it is also known as Average or Mileage.
In each and every bike, the average is different. Many of people said that average is directly dependable upon engine and bike structure. They are slightly right not totally.
Here are some tips by which you will directly improve your fuel average.
- CHECK YOUR TYRE FRICTION - Always check your tyre that how much it make friction during riding. If your bike tyre is not good than it always effect the fuel consumption in your bike.
Less Friction - More Fuel Consumption
More Friction - Less Fuel Consumption
- CHECK WEIGHT ON BIKE - This tip is directly based upon a principle of physics that Mass is inversely proportional to the Kinetic Energy. Similarly this principle is also applied on Fuel Consumption and Kinetic Energy, mean- If Kinetic Energy(Speed) is more than the fuel consumption is more while If Kinetic Energy(Speed) is less than the fuel consumption is less.
So according to the above theories,
If Mass is more than the average weight than the fuel consumption is very high while the kinetic energy is low.
CHECK THE WHEEL BASE - Always check the wheel base before start riding. Any defect in wheel base make your viechle fuel efficiency low.
DO NOT PRESS CLUTCH - Pressing of clutch in repeatable order makes your fuel efficiency low. So press clutch only when it needed.
DO NOT STAND YOUR BIKE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT - Direct sunlight increase the temperature of your bike which evaporate your fuel by which you can not get the good fuel average.
