Nowadays we all tend to visit the ATM's for withdrawing Money and we hardly go to the bank. As these are MAN-MADE machines they cam be tempered so that it will become the source of Easy Money for some of the individuals. Hence today I will be writing down some of the important things that we need to keep in mind while visiting any ATM.
a. First thing is that we should not let any others know about our Card details nor the PIN as this may lead to unauthorized charges.
b. We need to make sure that there is one Armed Security guard standing at the ATM for our hard earned money's security.
c. If we tend to visit the ATM at night, make sure that there is enough light inside the ATM.
d. We also need to make sure that the ATM machine Display screen looks normal with the normal options highlighted. Also please make sure that the Card Swapping or money dispensing part not tampered as many of the Frauds try that way to take our money.
e. Sometimes due to connections failure we do not get the Cash from the Machine but we do get a message that the cash has been deducted from our account. No need to panic immediately open the net banking app on your cell phone and check for the available balance. If that transaction was cancelled you will see Cash Deducted and cash Refunded simultaneously.
f. There should be Security Cameras inside the ATM too.
Just remember if we are active we can be safe and we can be away from any of the fraudulent services.
