To get here is difficult but once you get here, it's difficult to get out of here! This place serves one of the best oriental cuisine as compared to other restaurants in Bandra!
There are other places like caravan serai, mainland china that serve quality oriental but the cost for two is also very high at such places. Considering the cost, this place is sure to satisfy your taste buds.
The first thing that one would notice after going in the restaurant is the Certificate awarded to them by Mouthshut. It reads as "Best Chinese Cuisine restaurant", Yes indeed it's one of the best if not the best! And the 5 star rating too is truly justified!
To be very frank, I was really tired of Stomach and wanted to try some other place. Took out my phone and checked Mouthshut app, and it showed me Tiffin restaurant in a kilometer distance. I remembered that my friend had murmured this place name when it came to comparing good oriental food in Bandra. That's how I landed to this place.
Cost for two is somewhere around 400 bucks. Not that bad considering your having your having your lunch in Bandra.
Reaching this place is a big deal, as it's not that easy to navigate through Pali Hill.
One thing that one would notice is that this place isn't that big, neither is it very accessible and a touch confusing!
I've tried many starters here, and all them were good enough! Different type of starters like shanghai chicken, apple chicken, combo chilly.
The main course too is very good and gives away that authentic oriental feel. All the dishes I've tried here is very yummy and upto the mark.
Never tried any dessert here so can't comment on it, but there are only 3 starters. Anyways hardly anyone does order dessert after having oriental cuisine food.
The waiters are very polite and ready to help you every time you need help, be it while placing your order or any other help.
The ambiance isn't that great considering the limitations of space it can be understood!
One dish that I would like to mention separately is Chicken Sizzler which was very good! A sizzler presented in oriental way. The sizzler was stomach filling for two people, and the fries were better than the normal ones. Only instead of the palak if they could serve the creamy pasta, it would have been great!
If you don't want to burn a hole in your pocket and you are on a search for good oriental cuisine then this is the place to be!
It was a good gesture by the owner of the restaurant who came to us and asked us about the quality of the food. He made us feel comfortable every time we chose to eat at his place.
The seating arrangement was good considering the amount of space available.
The only thing that this place has to improve in terms of user satisfaction is the ambiance and maybe the place can be extended and it would be little less congested.
As per my view this place is holding on to it's customer loyalty! In my case, I was a regular visitor of Stomach but once I came across the hospitality of this place I will never go back to stomach when it comes to having quality chinese in Bandra.
This place isn't that famous but slowly & steadily it will catch up with other restaurants in & around Bandra.
Conclusion: If your bored of trying Stomach! Go for Tiffin. It would surely not disappoint you. A substitute for stomach.
