It was a terrible experience. The talk started with the advance which was to be deposited 25%, for which there were constant calls from the company even if it was 10 o'clock in the night.
Our trip started from 12th August from Leh and ended on 17th August from Leh. On 12th August we reached Leh at our fixed hotel at 1 o'clock, after going there we came to know that our hotel has been changed (by saying that the hotel has been upgraded) we were taken to another hotel, where it took 2 hours to reach because no one knew the way to that hotel, including driver.
On reaching the hotel, the hotel staff told that there is no wifi in the hotel. On going to the hotel room, it was found that there is neither towels nor water nor any basic facilities in the hotel room. We complained about this by somehow arranging the local mobile network (because there was no network coming in our mobile) and talked to the customer care executive of Thrillophilla whose name is "Aadhya", madam scolded us like school kids at first that you people know where you are, this is Leh, here basic things are not available, and if I want, I can also talk through e-mail now. And nobody helped us. Aadhya Madam probably didn't know that this was our second trip to Leh, so we knew almost everything about the facilities available there.
For the time being, after resting a bit, the driver came for the evening local sighting, which was very rude, That driver was so rude that he was not listening to us, we were so upset that even if we liked any place to stop, we would not ask him.
After two days of traveling in the local, we left for Nubra, we were told to keep our belongings in the cloak room, because the heavy weight can cause problems in the way of climbing there, we did that with our four trolley bags at the hotel. He left and left for Nubra Valley.
After reaching Nubra Valley, we went to Pangong Lake and from Pangong came to Leh. While coming to leh, we asked the tour organizer "Anshuman" that we have to go to the same hotel which is allotted to us, then we came to know that our hotel has been changed again by upgradation and neither we nor the driver were informed about this.
On reaching the hotel back in Leh, we came after taking our luggage from the old hotel. When we took our luggage from the old hotel, we found that there was no cloak room, the room from where the luggage was kept was the hotel staff room. We opened our bags around 8 pm and found that one of our items (which we had bought for our relatives and friends) was missing from the bag. We immediately complained about this to the tour operator, by chance he was present at the same hotel with some other party. First, there was a talk on the phone, then he brought 4 people with him and started arguing till one of his friends said that I am a local here, I will not even let you guys check out in the morning and said a lot which I write this can't either. After this we talked to the owner of the old hotel, he said that sometimes the same falls and is not known. While our luggage was in the chain in the inner pocket of the bag. Somehow we slept at night as this commotion continued till 11 pm.
The next day we left for our flight with many questions in our mind. It came to my mind that let's complain to the police, but the family's attention should not happen and we just kept waiting for the next day.
My experience was so scary that I will never book through this company again.
