Story:

I picked this book up 3 days ago, while here at a backpackers in Perth, and was done reading it within 24hours because I could not put this book down.

Ken Follet has a unique style of realism which comes through to the reader, he uses fashion, modern music, popular celebrities and scientific evidence to make it all the more believable.

In this book I feel his writing is very similar to that of Jerry Manders who wrote Four Arguments for the Elimination of Television, in the way that you feel it's not really fictional, it's something that probably has already happened, a probable accounting of a real life story being recounted as if you were there!

Another book I read by Ken Follet was ''The Pillars Of The Earth'' which is totally different and revolves around a stone mason and his family in about 1100 ad, as I recall it, this is a very long book and it took me over two weeks to read, mind it's length.

You will not be disappointed with the endings, both of these books twists and turns until the very end, I can't count how many twists it had! Better than wondering who shot JR on DAllAS, not that I remember.

Buy this book, you'll be done it in a day or two, but it is a gripping and spell binding journey that will not long be forgotten;)
