The Times Of India is rubbish. It is the news for Gossip mongers, upper class/business class, those who enjoy stories, not news.
Only good thing about TOI are (1) classifieds and (2) they write nicely about those corrupt politicians without sparing any one (with a tinge of artificial flavor, of course). (3) I like the editorial. However, the editor being sensible, does not seem to be aware of what is rest of the staff is keen in publishing.
In TOI, everything revolves around stock market, movies/sport starts and their link ups. They have wonderful supplement with beautiful ladies posing almost bare.
Science an technology page is almost always publish some sillyresearchon sexuality, with at least one photo of a lady is 2 piece. There nothing valuable content in it.
The national news, issues, concerns, voice of common people, information to the public that affects/helps their lives - all these take the last seat/no seat.
Totally wrong priorities, and irresponsible journalism. If a model commits suicide, it is on the front page as national news. There are hundreds of farmers dying every day, TOI has no priority for such news which is really the national news. I am sorry, TOI is rubbish. It is totally for urban population, where our country is rural population by majority. They have nothing for those. If stock markets crash by say 1000 points, they change the title itself!!! Peoples lives are less important for TOI than stock markets.
Is it a news paper only for the rich and capitalists ?
