Just as in the case where the driver would tie a carrot on a string to a long stick and dangle it in front of the donkey, just out of its reach. As the donkey moved forward to get the carrot, it pulled the cart and the driver so that the carrot would always remain out of reach* throughout our life we have only been pursuing happiness only with the feeling that someday we will have it but we fail to note that Happiness can only be pursued but never reached. The Pursuit of Happiness can be compared to the carrot and stick ....
Throughout the movie it is shown how Chris Gardner (Will smith) tries very hard to get out of the quick sand and gets sinking into a even worse condition. Loosing his job, wife, home. The pursuit of Happiness may take ever but never loose hope because you would achieve it someday that's what the tries to show here.
You would like to watch this movie again and again not because you are not able to understand the language or the plot but because every time you would watch it you would be able to relate it more to you...

In the situation where Will has been jailed with very few minutes left for an much needed job interview Anyone could have either gone late or missed that interview instead of going there shabbily dressed up but the way Will carries on and succeeds in impressing the panel is great to watch.
One more scene where he looses a shoe chasing a beggar who has his bone scanner and returns back to work with just one shoe on and still maintains it is superb.
Will Smith -
A superb actor that he his has shown out his talent again. There are no words to describe what he has done to this role which he performs to perfection only to bring tears in our eyes watching him perform. I would like to believe that it would be his career best till now.
Jayden Smith-
The real life son of Will smith out does his father and really proves where his talents come from.. The Chemistry between the father son duo couldn't have been better.
Every scene in this movie is do not miss and similarly every dialogue in the movie is a never miss stuff. A Lot of the dialogues in the movie are like great quotes which one would like to write down and render whenever need.
Almost all the English movies I have watched till now shows about Never say die attitude but This movie goes a step beyond because unlike other movies the concept is not overdone but this makes us relate and believe that it is not impossible to struggle and succeed.
