Expect the incredible!. Review on The Incredibles Movie

What a movie. Disney (+pixar) is THE best when it comes to animation. This is one point which is undeniable. I was stunned after the movie. Usually I keep going on and on about how good the movie is. But this time I didn't have words to express myself.

There is a limit to how good a movie can be. The story may not be the best, but with the animation it is more thrilling than watching Spider-man falling from a skyscraper. If you think this is some kiddish movie full of 'Supermen' you are mistaken.

The Incredibles is suitable for all. This movie deserves the Oscar for animation like how 'Finding Nemo' got it last year. If Finding Nemo's animation was good, this is incredible. You must see it.

First I will give a short summary of the story. This is the basic story. Mr. Incredible is a super hero who saves the people from the evil guys, calamities and so on. He helps the police in catching the criminals. But suddenly, the officials realize that he causes so much damage trying to save the people that it is a huge loss.

Over and over again he does that, and finally, he is sued. He is forced to retire as a superhero and to live as a normal citizen. Meanwhile, he marries Elastigirl, another superhero. They settle down and have three children.

One is Dash, who can run faster than the wind, Violet, who can disappear at will, and a babywho is yet to show any superpowers. The story is mainly about how the 'Incredibles' fight against an evil villain and his weapons, to save themeselves and the world.

At first, the story may seem stupid. But if you watch the movie, you will understand by yourself how good it is. The movie is neither a comedy nor an action movie. It has a bit of everything. Emotion, humor, fun, and action. There isn't any center theme for this movie either. All it is, is an excellent package with just the right proportions of all. There are some parts which just hint at some humor, without revealing that it is meant for comedy.

These parts make the movie fun and add a lot of variety. Even amidst all the action and anxiety, there is an element of fun now and then. In the action parts also, it isn't fully action. There is something funny everywhere. This makes it a cheerful movie to watch.

During the action parts, you are at the edge of your seat, anxious, tensed, excited, and stunned by the breathtaking animation. The trick is high speed action with awesome animation. Even in Finding Nemo, everything is lightning fast, so that it makes you feel excited. When it comes to animation, nothing gets better than Disney Pixar.

Finding Nemo, Shrek and The Incredibles are all examples of this. Sometimes the animation alone makes you feel the movie deserves an Oscar. TOOOOOOOOO good. Even I feel that the movie doesn't have the best story around (that honour goes to Finding Nemo). But they make the animation so good that it stuns you. So it is the overall packaging that does the job so well.

This movie runs primely because of the animation brilliance of Disney Pixar and the way the fun, action, comedy and emotion blend. I was absolutely stunned after seeing this movie (I know I am saying this for the third time).

If you want to have a day out from work or studies, The Incredibles is perfect. I must warn you, if you like only full fledged horror and action, you will be wasting your time and money on this movie. For me, it was THE best. In fact, now I don't want to buy the VCD because if I watch it over and over again (which I probably will), it will lose its charm. And that is the last thing I want, to happen.
