As the name suggests movie is basically about a painting that Gerda Wegener
'Alicia Vikander' paints of her husband as a lady. now after the painting gets famous her husband Einar Wegener'Eddie Redmayne' tries to first look like a lady and takes the name Lili Elbe in the movie. after this the bizarre decision comes of sex change is taken by both husband and wife? Eddie Redmayne changes his sex to a Woman. this is a very controversial topic and indian audiences will definitely object to this philosophy according to me. after this as now anyone can guess wife begins to fall for another man Hans Axgil and a love triangle starts.
this movie is quite boring and predictable as it goes on. alicia has done good for her role and movie is average by any standard given.
I was curious with the name of the movie so I went for it.
PS: please don't go to watch with your family, only bachelors with friends and couples can see this.
