I saw the first one and usually horror films don't get me, but it did big time. No matter what you review you give it, I'm going to check out by what ever means I have. The execution of "The Conjuring" was flawless? I respectfully disagree.
There's no accounting for why so many critics gave high marks to "The Conjuring, " and it's one of the few times a movie has been so derivative, and has insulted my intelligence so much, that I left the theater angry. Did the filmmakers not count on anyone having seen "The Amityville Horror, " and if they did, not realizing that "The Conjuring" was a virtual remake.
