As we are part of IT world, last week we had decided to celebrate my friend's birthday at shollinganallur OMR Road which is very near to our work place.
We choose cake world as our target and we executed it well.
Cake World is specially made for cakes. Cakes were very attractive and while seeing their presentation water will start flowing inside our mouth. So the presentation were really nice.
Ambience was quite good but it can be even more better. The shop opens at 9 am and we reached almost at 10 am.
The place was not at all cleaned and the proper arrangements were not made.
Cookies, Bread items like sandwich were also available. Taste was good. Both veg and non-veg available.
Completely air-conditioned. Free home delivery also available.
We ordered several items as it is completely a friend's birthday party.
We ordered a red velvet cake which was completely awesome.
then we tasted rainbow cake, donuts, sandwich, etc.
The food taste was nice but the other criteria for running a shop was missing with them.
Customer service was completely too bad. Some were very rude and some were not at all responding.
While moving on to the money point, we were completely shocked to see the bill.
The rate was too high which was triple the charge as we expected.
They gave several offers like buy one get one, but the amount satisfies for both the items.
It doesn't worth for such money.
It is the place where we can't visit often with the low amount or medium amount budget.
Nice place for cakes and not for other factors.
