Hi friends, here I go again with my sister's review on the new Body Shop Nail makeup range that she purchased and used last month.
Well my sister is a fan of Body Shop fragrances and hence she decided to buy two shades from the latest colour crush range of nail polishes. what influenced her the most in buying it was that the brand claimed it was a 100% vegan product.
Well she would like to elaborate a little on the actual experience after using the nail polish, she used the 650- Mad About Blue and 210- Just Peachy. She paid 600 rupees for a bottle each of around 7 ml.
after applying the nail colour she just did not get the level of gloss that she was expecting. the nail colour looks unattractive and requires an over coat of gloss. the range has more than 20 colours but none of them are great! the colour simply looses its appeal in an hour or so, and starts to look dry and pale soon after. the colour also chips off very easily, that feels like it is bought from some Chinese brand. cheap! Also strangely, sometimes what happens is that the colour does not spread well it leaves lines behind with every brush stroke. I guess the brush they used is not of good quality.
Well it does not do any good in the glitter department too, as there is no glitter particles in it! Body Shop has gone totally wrong with this range! dont they know what is currently in trend?
The Vegan part is simply a marketing gimmick for me. just a way of over charging customers. The body shop nail make up range is not at all worth a shot, do not waste you money.
