There are times when a Critique also faces the Question “To Be or Not to Be”, How does One Criticize the Movie which Bare downs to Its Minimum and Just Depicts the Reality of a Horrifying Act. The Times when Humanity Dipped to its Lowest Low and Men became worst than animals. The Composure One has to maintain to just analyze and carry on with the Duty, in the most balanced manner.

Similar of sorts as the Male Protagonist Nana Patekar( as JCP Rakesh Maria faces), as he quietly and in a very subtle yet strong voice conveys the Circumstance of “The Attacks of 26/11” –the damned night; in an Inquiry Committee which faces him.  As he slowly braces, pauses, conveys, picks up his tea-sips and relates the incidents which followed, a slow chill starts running down the spine. There is nothing and nobody but just you as an audience and him as a narrator. Everything else ceases to exist! In his mind as an actor he diminishes that line of knowing that this is a Movie about a very sensitive issue; that this is a rope-walk he has to do, to be able to convey the incidents in a most non-committal manner.

But he accepts- he accepts the rage and the helplessness which happened that night to the Mumbai Police as an Organization, he accepts that how he was flabbergasted to face Kasab(Sanjeev Jaiswal) and realize that the man is barely out of his teens, short height. Somewhere along the line you realize that this is the similar case as Zero Dark Thirty, in fact the trailer of the movie was released just couple of days post Kasab’s hanging. That here is an explanation from Indian Government to the audience, to the Citizens of India and the World. But eventually the Brilliance zeroes down to just the fact that the way it was conveyed-Nana Patekar’s dialogue exchange with Kasab at the Morgue, as he eventually portrays his anger and all the accumulated hurt. That silent vein of anger that throbs on his forehead.

In hand goes an intelligent background score which is one of rare thematic scores which Indian cinema witnesses, keeping in pace and not suppressing the real content. Ramgopal Verma wears his very Moody Director Hat and gives a Brilliant Shot which would bring in a lot of disturbance! Here is movie which takes a huge risk considering the fact that once again Communal Violence has ripped our Country, similar rage is fresh in our hearts. The commendable score just being that it nails down the only Truth “No religion is above humanity, Humanity killed is Religion Killed”

Caution: Do not take Kids along, You don’t want them to Know that this incident is Reality of our Present Times.
