After the mega success of VIP, dhanush think to take a sequel for it.Thangamagan dubbed as VIP part 2. Samantha and Amy jackson are paired opp to dhanush. Movie story is same as that of VIP , where villain try to stop progress of the Hero and how Hero overcomes that and wins his life. Movie got released on dec 18th with no other competitors for it.As expected the movie was a family entertainer.
First half was little slow and draggy other than few comedies by dhanush and sathish. Second half was good and little fast when compared to first.Dialogues are not good enough and Dhanush speaks something because he needs to. Songs are not good enough for the levels set by vip, Anirudh failed to make any impressive performance.
As critics say Dhanush always choose the underperformer as villain and try to overcome him.Dhanush should choose better villains who play their roles better. Thangamagan is one time watchable film. Amy and Samantha super.
