Quotes - A Section Which Lines memorable dialogues from the film.

Oops - A Section Which Points Out any blunders or mistakes in the film.

Psst - A Section Which points out any incident during the making of the film

Director - Govind Nihalani

Script - Govind Nihlani & Kamlesh Pandey

Thakshak is a name of a Killer Snake in ''The Mahabharat''. Here Thakshak is Rahul Bose. Govind Nihalani directs and co-writes this predictible story of the son (Ajay Devgan) of a famous underworld gangster (Amrish Puri) who wants to leave his fathers business but can't due to a commitment made by his father to Rahul Bose's Granddad (Who plays the role of a famous godfather like gangster). Anyone who has seen the fabulous ''Parinda'',''Satya'',''Ghulam'' or ''Kabzaa'' will be miles ahead of this script. Top-Notch performances by Ajay Devgan, Tabu (in a very small but important role), Amrish Puri, Govind Namdeo (as a strict and an honest cop). The saving grace of this film is a brilliant and top class performance by Rahul Bose. Incidentally this is Rahul Bose's first Hindi Film. Watch this movie only to see Rahul Bose.

Quotes

1) Abhi iski nath utarni hai.

2) Aurat ke aasoo se talwar pe zung lag jati hai.

3) Mera dimag kabhi kabhi sarakh jaata hai.

Psst.

1) This is Rahul Bose's first hindi films. He had acted in only 2 independent English movies ''English August'' and ''Bombay Boyz''. He is remembered for his role in India's first English Soap ''A Mouthful of Sky''. In that serial it was only his role which was widely appreciated.

2) Ajay Devgan's Company had Distributed and Ajay Devgan Co-Executive Produced this movie.

Oops

1) Although Govind Nihlani often said that this movie has been set in post-emergency India all the setings are of the late 90's.

2) In the scene following the scene where Ajay Devgan has been Beat Up by the cops, he is shown with a swollen face. In the next scene it is gone.

3) Keep watching Rahul Bose's face when he is thinking of killing his friend ''Randhir''. He is shown clean-shaved and unshaved in simultaneously.

4) When Ajay Devgan saves Rahul Bose's life from rival gangsters by making the car bang against the wall, the car burns to flame although in a circumstance like this the car would have been crushed and not burned.

5) It is shown that Tabu goes to learn Urdu during the 1992/93 riots in Bombay. She is shown to be hindu. Why would she then learn urdu? That too during the riots of 1992/93.
