My mother and I went to a new hair salon in November 2003, we payed to get our hair dyed and cut all nice. Of course they told us that these certain products were great and we must have them! I told my mom that we didn't need to spend more money, but she was convinced by the hairdresser to buy a couple of expensive products.
One was TERAX Original Hair Treatment. This treatment cost 13 dollars. It comes in a long, but thin 150 mL white tube. The hairdresser promised that it would make our curly, dry hair extremely soft. My mother tried it, but she moved on to the better conditioner, Dove.
I had it in my bathroom for a while, so every once in a while I would use it. I used it this morning in the shower. I don't like the fragrance of this conditioner. Uck. It is very thick, not at all watery. I leave it on my hair while I do other things in the shower for about 5-8 minutes, it rinsed out slowly. I got out of the shower, did my usual hair routine, which includes washing my hair, conditioning it, spraying it with leave in conditioner and putting mousse in it. Well I did that with this conditioner. At first it did look decent, but some of my hair was frizzier than other parts of my hair.
My hair did feel quite soft. But as the day went one, the ends of my hair still felt dry. My hair was not as nice as it was with regular conditioner.
Therefore, I do not recommend this conditioner. It is extremely expensive for such a little tube. I find that my Dove conditioner works much better, and I could buy 950 mL of Dove conditioner for one of these little tubes. I don't recommend this. Stick to Dove conditioner.
