Rahman - when hearing the name itself we can feel some energy spreading inside us. same when hearing his songs, especially the songs which he has sung himself. i'm putting my favortie songs sang by Rahman in tamil and hindi.

In tamil,

1. Theeyil viluntha thena from Varalaru performed by Ajit Kumar. Song was superb, everyone who loves his/her mom very much will surely like this song. it comes in a sad song category. fantastic

   
   




2. Mustafa mustafa from Kathal Desam. enjoying, cheerful song, which tells about college boys friendship, and their joy. its a good friendship song. visual is also nice.

   
   




3. Ah ahsong from Anbe Aruyireperformed by SJ surya. song is energetic, beats are superb in that but visual not so good as the song.

   
   




4. Ella Pugalum Iravan oruvanuke song from Azhagiya Thamizh maganperformed by Vijay. its also a kind of energetic song. the dance performed by vijay is exciting and extraordinary in that song.

   
   




5. Vellai Pookal song from Kannathil Muthamittal,a manirathnam movie, which bagged 3 national awards, one for Rahman in best music category, another for chinmayee for oru theivam thantha poove song. this also has rahman's major part.superb song. at the first frame of movie itsefl, this song starts. simply fantastic

   
   

then comes the hindi songs performed by him.

1. khwaja mere Khwaja from Jodha Akbar, a fantastic hypnotizing song. I feel this song is very very diffferent from all the songs composed and sung by himself. a fantastic song.

   
   




2. dilse re song from dilse. even I like the tamil version of that song also. beats and music in that song is really good.

   
   




3. Khalbali song from Rang De basanti, sung along with Muhammad Aslam. A fantastic song. energetic and enthusiatic. especially its visual.

   
   




4. Chale chalo from Lagaan, its also an energetic song. in fact I didnt see lagaan movie yet. but i've seen that song alone many times in tv channels. an inspiring song are those who starve to achieve.

   
   




5. Tu bole main song from Jane Tu Ya jane Naa, a fantasitc voice and different kind of music. i've set that song as my ring tone for one of my profile in my mobile.
