Good year 2004. Review on Ten Best Hindi Songs of 2004

Some outstanding songs were created in 2004, music was exceptional, and originality at its very best by some music directors.

My choice of songs is unique in my way and is as under:

1. Kyo Hawa  Veer Zaara's best song.It reminds me of a nice poem which I listened in childhood.Sonu has done very good work in this song;not to forget Lataji which by her'aa aa aaaa' has infused life in it.It seems even better when once you watch the movie as you feel sad for shahrukh.

Yash chopra's begining is too good.

2Main kahi bhi rahoo-LOC  For this 13 min mammoth song with 5 top singers seemed to be like Border's'Sandese aate hain' earlier.But after listening 3-4 times, I fell in love with this song, its music, its chorus and all the originality of thoughts that happen to create such a beautiful music by Anu Malik.

If you listen it carefully, and calmly, you can compare the whole song with a running train.It slows down in the middle, it crosses bridges over rivers, passes through valleys, and in the end of the song it sets its own motion, happy and singing in event of reaching its destination.

What I describe above is to be felt, and imagined.Voices of Udit and Roopkumar rathod and sukhwinder singh stand out, and feel better than Sonu and Hariharan. esp the 2nd last para by udit-'baithi phoolo ki sajili doo-oli main, muskuraye koi dulhan jaise' and than by rathod-' jahan bas raaj hai tera- wo aangan yaad aata hai-waha ghutno jo chalta hai wo bachpan yaad aata hai' in unbelievably melodious and touching.I have heard this so many times and I know will continue to love this song forever.

Kudos to Anu Malik!

3 'Sanso ko Sanso main'- Hum Tum I couldnt  digest the fact that Babul supriyo can sing as good as it has done in this song. It was like a miracle on his part I think.

But I am sure if Udit, Shaan had sung this song, it would have been a better song overall.

But an excellent, emotional song which touches the heart straightaway.Alka Yagnik stands out as one of the best performer this year.

1. Khoobsurat hai wo itna-RogUdit Udit Udit and Udit.Lyrics are Ok but sounds so good! Reminds at once of the all the great songs through Udit's voice.

5 Man ki lagan-Paap Sounds so relaxed and cool that you can hear it anytime you wish to.Just set the song in repeat mode and listen it again and again.It is great song with good music.

6 Pyaar bhara-LOC Another good song from the film.It has sadness, of separation, and a conversation like which is touchy.

7 Tere Liye-Veer Zaara Very good one from lata and Rathod.Music is good too.

8 Chak de-Hum tum A lively, Positive song which can make you feel good and happy.Variation of voice from singers esp in para start is good.

9 Jeene ke Ishaare mil gaye-Phir milengeGood song when heard few times.

Best part is the elongated sentence'sun kahi khoye the-bandish mil gayi'.But could be better sung by shaan or Udit.

10 Agar main kahoo-LakshyaHero -heroine talk is good through a song.Nice to hear.
