Hello all out there. Selecting is always a tough game for me especially, considering I liked myself being ranked and compared to anyone but then I guess there is no way out to it. I have enjoyed many English movies over the years and here are the 10 best of them, although the order or ranking here in incidental not intentional.
''TOP GUN''---I liked this movie simply for Tom Cruise and nothing else as ther was nothing worthwhile in it anyway. Today I may not watch it or recommend it to anyone but then Tom has been my favourite since so long. Its just for him.
''FOREST GUMP''---Tom Hanks is one of the best actors in Hollywood and this movie has to be seen to be believed. Absolutely majestic.
''DEVILS ADVOCATE:---Al Pachino is a legend not for nothing. He and Kneau Reves make a powerful twosome and put in a splendid performance to make this movie a memorable one.
''SCHINDLERS LIST''---Spielberg is the undisputed Director King and he takes his job bloody seriously. This movie is his best and whosoever hasnt watched this movie hasnt seen anything yet. A must see for evryone.
''FINAL DESTINATION''---Edge of the seat thriller and a real good movie. I have not seen a better thriller movie than this. Death can be very scaring, but living is even scarier, this movie tells us.
''PHILADELPHIA''---Tom Hanks did it yet again, this time as a gay laywer fired by his company on finding his truth and he files a law suit against them. Denzel Washington is also good but Tom is well, HEAVENLY, yes thats the word. A must see.
''GODFATHER''---What to say about a movie as good as this. Believe me cannot find apt words to describe this classic. Al Pachino, Marlon Brando and a whole lot of excellent guys with some rivetting performances. And that haunting background score still gets over me.
''CHICAGO''---Have just seen the movie and its excellent. It was the first musical I had seen and was very sceptical about a Hollywood musical but just enjoyed it thoroughly. Real good music and Richard Gere is not called a Playboy for nothing.
''BASIC INSTINCT''---I know guys, why this movie was an instant hit and Sharon Stone a rage worldwide and am not going to say anything more on that except that it was very sensous, well literally. But the story also was very good and was a very well made film. Have not seen a better physco film. May God bless Michael Douglas.
''TERMINATOR2''---A really cool and hip-hop sci-fi movie. Arnold was very good in his potrayal of a machine. Special effects was out of the world and this movie redefined the way fiction movies were made.
I know a lot of movies other than these are also really good and should have been there but then I could only have included these much between 1 and 10.
