I purchased TCL 139 cm(55 inches) 4KUltra HD Smart QLED Google TV(55C645) last year in July month, which has 2 years warranty. I couldn't use it much initially for 2 months and after that when I actually tried to use it, I noticed a lot of issues. Apps restart automatically, TV hangs very frequently, and it was happening with all apps, nothing specific.
On complaining TCL, they said it could be app specific. We uninstalled and installed apps again. It worked for 15-20 days and same problem started repeated again. On calling TCL customer care, they reset the TV, it worked again for 15-20 days and the same hanging issue again.
You wouldn't believe, they reset this TV 4 times and not believing me that reset is a temporary issue. I gave up and started living with it as I understand that they don't have any permanent fix.
In the meantime, TV stopped working so I've to raise the case with TCL customer support. This time, they issue a case number: IN072024079099 and sent executive to change the TV card. Executive changed the card and he himself couldn't setup tv as it was not working so he left for the day by saying that they'll find another solution. Since then I've called many times to TCL customer care but nothing happened. They called to service advisor team but service team don't pick TCL customer care calls. Imagine, if service team doesn't pick their company calls, what kind of service this company is going to provide to end users. Every-time TCL customer care dept escalate the case to higher department but nothing happened. Finally, I myself raised the case by asked them to handover the call to floor manager, Mr. Jitender however floor manager is also same. He asked for 3-5 days for resolution but nothing happened. After a week, I called continuously to TCL customer care and they open a new case: IN082024070067 . This case is still active and I don't know what they'll do this time.
Technical service team junior executive called who already visited thrice to make a video. I explained him everything that your senior already visited and changed the card but the problem is still same. Senior already have all videos, in-fact he himself created the video but closed the case without resolving the problem. I don't know what will happen but this is really frustrating.
I think, we should avoid buying electronics products from such kind of company, which don't care about their customers. I don't recommend to buy any TCL Electronics products, specially smart tv, mini LED tv or Qled 4k tv.
Latest Update: TCL customer support team closed the CASE ID: IN082024070067 automatically by cancelled the case and open a new CASE ID: IN082024096415. I think, they do this with every case so that a case can't remain open for a long time. How disgusting.
