I used this Tata Photon data card and purchased it for personal home purpose. I used it for about 3 to 4 months and my overall experience with this data card is somehow lower than average. I am disappointed with some of it's irritating problems and their customer support representative is so pathetic.
INTERNET SPEED: I will rate 2 star out of 5 for internet speed because it allows me only to surf internet with a speed of 200 to 300 kbps and I tried disconnecting and connecting several times but the speed was constant. I checked statistics of the network but speed never crossed 750 kbps.
CONNECTIVITY: I got an issue in connectivity for the first time after 3 days of purchase. And the problem was that, the device gets disconnected automatically showing notification of network error. And now this problem occurs every 15 minutes.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT: I contacted their customer care executive for connectivity problem. They promised to solve my problem but I noticed that this problem continues no one arrived for checking after giving address.
Also there are very few shops which provide recharge of Tata Photon, generally I do online recharges of Tata Photon Max Wi-Fi Data Card.
