Firstly, a sequel has a lot of expectations riding on it. On that account alone this movie has beaten all odds to leave the audience spell-bound with brilliant performance by Kangana and R. Mahadevan. So realistic performance by Kangana, experimenting with her looks, moving out of her comfort zone to carry off 2 contrasting personas with gravitas and ease.
Style with substance. Her attention to detail in essaying the role of a rustic Haryanvi athlete, is par excellence. The plot of the movie does well to bring out the nuances of the main protagonists of the movie, Tanu and Manu. Till the end, the viewer is left guessing.
Kangana is a brilliant actress, in the mould of Sridevi, who essays her role to perfection, without carrying any airs about her at any film award function, i.e in her real life avatar.
