Developed by an chartered accountant himself, who is also an pucca business man, tally is something which makes life easy, and dependancy on accountant is removed once you can operate tally yourself.. (Which is very easy !)Comapare tally with any other basic accounting software and you will find tally the best.
I have been using tally since its birth (4.0) version, and very happy about it. I have also burnt my fingers with many other a/c software in past. Practical and user freindly approach by tally is most appriciated.Do not bother about their on line varification of genuine version, once u get hang of it , it works well.
Also I understand that from 9 ver it is varifying only twice.In between only version 5 and version 8 had problems which are now more then rectified in version 9.1. if you are having non pirated version you can upgrade free from their web site.For small business and self employed u cant get anything better then this. I Bet.
