For those who love heading to the Pub during the weekends.TAKE 5 is the place to be, especially on a Sunday!
My hubby and I decided to check out this pub on 100 Ft Road, Indranagar, above Annachi (on being invited by my friend Bharti, the owner Viraj's wife).
Set in an Old world charm, the dim lights soothes your soul and the cozy chairs you can sink into, makes you feel like you are on your way to achieving "Nirvana". The Staff were prompt and friendly and Viraj was a perfect host.
Then comes the "soul spirits".an array of interesting cocktails, beers, wines and liqueurs to choose from.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the live band called "Todays Special" that played some brilliant rock numbers by Jimi Hendrix and Pearl Jam to name a few. To say that the band was Amazing is an understatement.They played flawlessly .not to mention the fact that they had a female bass guitarist . Perhaps the only one of her kind in India .
While the ambience, good food, spirits and the brilliant music made us comfortably numb through the night, the "feel good factor" lasted the next day as well.
Open from 12 Noon, they play Jazz, blues, rock and retro on weekdays and a live band on Sundays.
