No doubt that Taj is beautiful but while visiting Taj you will face thugs everywhere. Autos are not allowed in the Taj area so you will have to take cycle rikshaw, which will drop you to the western gate of main Taj premises. At western gate after purchasing tickets you will find a very long queue of people, who are standing for hours. Now here enters thug, they will tell you that they know a secret gateway to Taj and they will ask you for huge money, don't fall in there trap. Many people don't know that there are two gates to enter Taj, so if you find crowd at Western gate then look for Eastern gate, shopkeepers and locals around will tell you the way.
After entering the main premises you will find many photographers, they will try to allure you with there different offers so just ignore them because if you let them click your pictures and by chance you love any of it then they will charge you extra money for the pictures.
You can enter into the Taj bare foot or with your footwear covered, so it would be better if you buy sleeper covers outside which are easily available in Taj premises.
While going back if you want to buy some soveignier for your friends and family, you need to bargain hard because sellers charge three times of the actual price.One more thing don't forget to try "Aagre ka Petha", it's yummy, but there also you have to bargain. Beware of the thugs and enjoy beauty of the Taj.
